Changelog

Everything we have shipped on urls.bio, newest first.

30 August 2026

The table keeps its bearings

  • ImprovementThe Audience table keeps its header in view while you scroll down it and keeps the email address in view while you scroll it sideways, so a row on a phone never loses its name. The page controls under it stay on screen too
  • BugfixReloading the list, after adding someone to a group or pulling to refresh, used to swap the whole table for a spinner and drop you back at the top. The rows now update in place and you keep your spot

30 August 2026

Connected apps

  • NewPro accounts can make an API token under Integrations and hand it to another app of yours, so people who sign up over there land on your list here. By default every address it sends gets a confirmation email, worded for the app they signed up with, and joins when they tap it. Tokens show once, list by name, and revoke with one tap
  • NewA token can be marked as belonging to an app that asks for consent itself. Its subscribers then join at once, with no confirmation email, and the app's record of when they agreed is kept with them

28 August 2026

Tabs slide

  • ImprovementSwitching tabs slides the marker across to the one you picked instead of it blinking from place to place, and the blocks under it come in from the side it came from. Both hold still for anyone who has asked their device for less motion

28 August 2026

Your words, your capitals

  • ImprovementTwo of the themes put your name and every block title into capitals. They do not any more: what you type is what your page shows, in the case you wrote it
  • ImprovementPage tabs are the same shape on every page now, a glassy grey track with the open tab filled in black or white, whichever reads on your background. They used to be drawn like another block in your own colours, which made the control that chooses between your blocks look like one of them
  • ImprovementOne gesture at a time in the Studio. Taking a block by its handle no longer lets it slide sideways as well, and swiping a block sideways no longer drags it up and down. A finger anywhere else on a block still scrolls the list

28 August 2026

A block that draws nothing no longer leaves a hole

  • BugfixA block that has not got what it needs, a Release with no record behind it for instance, drew nothing on your page but still took up its own space. It looked like a missing link and a run of odd gaps between the blocks around it. Now it takes no room at all, and it still shows in your Studio so you can finish it
  • ImprovementBoth swipes behave the same way at the halfway point. A half pull to the left used to leave the trash sitting open while the same half pull to the right sprang back; now either one springs back and nothing happens
  • ImprovementPinned and unpinned blocks are two lists. Each reorders freely among itself and neither can be dragged into the other, so a block can no longer be hauled up through the pinned ones and off the top of the screen

28 August 2026

Swipe right to pin a block

  • NewSwipe a block right to pin it, the mirror of swiping left to delete. A pinned block sits above the unpinned ones with a small pin beside its name, and it stays there: drag another block over it and that block settles back underneath. Swipe it right again to unpin
  • ImprovementIt pins to the top of where the block already lives, so a block inside a section goes to the top of that section rather than being pulled out of it, and a block on a tab stays on its tab. Pinned blocks can still be reordered among themselves
  • BugfixBoth swipes commit at a distance you can actually reach. The old threshold was half the width of the row, which meant a swipe could only be started from the far edge; a quick flick now works from anywhere on the card

28 August 2026

Sensitive blocks, without hiding your whole page

  • NewIn a gallery, each picture has its own 18+ switch. Only the marked one is blurred, the rest of the set shows as normal, and a picture nobody has unlocked never turns up in the full-screen viewer
  • NewAny block can be marked Sensitive. Its pictures, video and embeds are blurred for visitors with an "18+, tap to view" badge, and tapping asks them to confirm their age. The title stays readable and the rest of your page carries on as normal. Every block type has the switch now, not just links
  • NewAge-gate my whole page is its own setting in your profile panel, for a page that is adult from top to bottom. Until now one sensitive link walled off everything, which left no way to say that a single picture was the sensitive part
  • ImprovementA visitor confirms once per profile and that opens everything on it, rather than being asked again on each block. It stays per profile: agreeing on your page says nothing about anybody else's
  • BugfixConfirming your age on a link never used to be remembered, so the same block asked again every single time

28 August 2026

DIY Stubs, under its own name

  • ImprovementThe DIY Stubs block is called DIY Stubs now, not Tickets, and it carries the DIY Stubs mark on the Integrations shelf. It always had the full set of options behind it, full checkout on your page, event info, or a buy button, but under a generic name nobody went looking for them
  • ImprovementSearching the block list for "tickets" finds both: DIY Stubs for selling on your page, and Events for dates you sell anywhere else
  • BugfixA hidden block no longer shows the delete panel through its own face

28 August 2026

Nothing goes on your page until you say so

  • NewPicking a block no longer puts it on your page, and picking the wrong one costs you nothing. A block you put nothing into never joins your list at all. Type something into it and it waits there marked "Draft, not published", where only you can see it, until you press Save block. Blocks with nothing to fill in, like a Divider or a Section, are still added in a single tap
  • NewSwipe a block left in your list to delete it, the way your mail app works. A short pull rests open with a trash button beside it; carry on past halfway and letting go finishes the pull on its own. A light buzz as the trash appears, a firmer one as you pass the point of no return, and an Undo in the message either way
  • ImprovementOn a phone the sheet has two stages instead of three, and a quick flick down closes it rather than parking it at a quarter height nobody wanted
  • ImprovementThe Studio has no tabs anywhere now. Your profile card opens Details, the Design button opens Design, and a block opens that block
  • ImprovementA quiz asks for its questions first and its results after, which is the order you actually write one in, and each result now says plainly what the visitor sees and where its button sends them
  • ImprovementEvery service we support is listed by name in the block list, on All as well as on Integrations. Searching Spotify finds Spotify
  • BugfixOpening a block's menu on a phone and closing it no longer throws you back to your profile settings
  • BugfixThe block panel on a phone had more in its title bar than fitted, so a long "needs" message could squeeze a block's own name down to two letters

28 August 2026

Pick the wrong block, change it

  • NewA block you have not saved yet can change what it is. Open it and tap its type under the name, or pick Change block type from its menu, and it becomes whatever you choose, keeping its title, its address and its place. Grabbing the wrong block no longer means deleting it and starting again
  • NewQuiz is its own row in the block list. It was always there, hidden as a setting on the contact form, so nobody found it. Adding one now gives you a quiz already set to ask one question at a time, and a block in quiz mode calls itself Quiz
  • ImprovementThe Integrations shelf lists every service by name. Search Spotify, Calendly or Bandcamp and you get that service, with its own logo, instead of having to know which block to reach for
  • BugfixAdd to Apple Wallet no longer sits on the share sheet inside the app, where tapping it did nothing. It tells you to open your page in Safari instead, and it still works everywhere else

28 August 2026

Put your page in Apple Wallet

  • NewOn an iPhone, iPad or Mac the share sheet now has Add to Apple Wallet. The pass carries your handle and a code that opens your page, and it wears your page's own colour so it looks like yours rather than like ours
  • ImprovementIt is the fastest way to hand somebody your page in person: the wallet opens from the lock screen and the code scans from across a table. A scan is counted separately in analytics, so you can see how much came from somebody's wallet

28 August 2026

Your contact form can be a quiz

  • NewSet a contact form to ask one question at a time and it becomes a quiz: every multiple-choice field is a question, and the result they land on is whichever one their answers pointed at most
  • NewEvery answer lands in Audience as a readable tag, so your next newsletter can go to just the people who answered a particular way. That is the reason to run one; the result card is what makes somebody answer
  • ImprovementA progress rule and a back arrow, so a mis-tap on question two does not mean starting again, and no timer, because nobody has ever enjoyed a timed quiz on a bio page

28 August 2026

A media kit built from numbers you cannot type in

  • NewPro pages get a media kit at urls.bio/yourname/kit: a page you send a brand, showing your views, link taps, click-through rate and subscribers over the last 90 days, with the date they were read
  • NewThe rest is built from blocks you already have. Your logo strip is the brands you have worked with, your menu is the rate card, your gallery is recent work. Change them on your page and the kit changes too, because there is no second copy
  • ImprovementFollower counts you type in sit in their own band, labelled self-reported, under the ones your page measured. Saying which is which is the whole point: the measured half is the half nobody can inflate
  • ImprovementThe kit is never indexed by search engines, so a rate card stays between you and whoever you sent it to, and it prints straight to PDF

27 August 2026

Three button shapes

  • NewButtons are Square, Rounded or Pill: no corner at all, a soft corner, or fully round. There were two, Pill and Sharp, and no way to ask for the shape in between
  • ImprovementA page made before this keeps exactly the corner it was saved with, and the picker shows whichever of the three it is closest to. Nothing changes on your page until you pick a shape yourself

27 August 2026

An import brings the artwork and the colours too

  • ImprovementYour pictures come across. A link that was a big card on the other side is a Card here with its picture on it, and a plain row keeps its thumbnail
  • ImprovementSo does your look: page colour, text colour, button shape and button style. Their gradients, blurs and shadows do not, and the receipt says so
  • NewA second tab now comes across as a second tab, with what was on it. If your imported page uses anything only Pro renders, the last step of onboarding names it and says what a free page does with it instead, so nothing goes missing quietly
  • BugfixA SoundCloud or Mixcloud profile address no longer renders their "not a valid URL" error box on your page. Only a real track or set embeds; a profile is a link

27 August 2026

Bring your Linktree across

  • NewPaste your Linktree address during signup and urls.bio reads the page, then shows you a receipt listing every single thing on it and what each one would become here, before anything is written
  • NewNothing is quietly dropped or quietly changed. A block we have no exact match for becomes a link to the same place and says so on that screen, and Leave out removes anything you do not want before it is built
  • ImprovementYour handle is never taken from the page you import, and your links, headings, sections and anything we can play in place all come across as themselves

27 August 2026

Links open the app, not a logged-out page

  • ImprovementA visitor arriving from Instagram or TikTok is inside that app's browser, where they are logged out of everything, so a Spotify or YouTube link used to land as a logged-out web page. Where we know the app's own address, the tap now opens the app instead, and falls back to the web page if it is not installed

27 August 2026

One link to your record, every service that carries it

  • NewThe Release block takes one link from Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, SoundCloud, Bandcamp, Tidal, Deezer, Amazon Music or Audiomack, finds every other service carrying the same record, and lists them as buttons under your artwork
  • NewWhichever service a visitor last used moves to the top for them next time, remembered in their own browser and never sent anywhere, so somebody who listens on Deezer stops scrolling past four services they do not use
  • ImprovementA release publishes as a record in search results, with its artwork, its artist and every service carrying it

27 August 2026

Twelve more services embed on your page

  • NewApple Music, Apple Podcasts, Deezer, Tidal, Audiomack and Mixcloud now play on your page, alongside Spotify and SoundCloud. Paste the ordinary share link and the Embed block works out the rest
  • NewLuma and Eventbrite events, Typeform, Tally and Google Forms, and Loom recordings all render in place too, so somebody can book, answer or watch without leaving your page
  • ImprovementEmbed, Direct chat and Tickets have moved to a new Integrations shelf in the add-block picker, and searching it for a service name now finds the block that does it

27 August 2026

The comparison pages show both columns

  • NewThe Linktree comparison now puts their answer beside ours, row by row, taken from what Linktree publishes about its own plans, with the source linked and the date it was read printed underneath
  • ImprovementEvery comparison page now publishes what urls.bio costs as structured data, so an assistant asked what a link in bio page costs can answer with the real number instead of guessing

27 August 2026

Groups are Sections, and they can be grids

  • NewA Section arranges the blocks inside it three ways: a stack, a grid of tiles two across on a phone, or a carousel you swipe sideways. Grids and carousels take a tile shape too, the same square, wide and portrait the gallery offers
  • NewFolding is now its own setting rather than something every section had to do, so you can have no fold at all, one that starts open, or one that starts shut. Crossing it with the layout is the point: a folded grid is a tidy way to keep a shop under one line
  • ImprovementThe Group block is now called Section, which is what it has always been. Nothing about the ones on your page changed: same block, same blocks inside it, same behaviour, and searching for "group" still finds it

27 August 2026

Your blocks tell search engines what they are

  • NewYour events now publish as dated events with their venue and whether tickets are on sale, your location and hours publish as a business with opening times, and your menu publishes as a menu with its prices, so a search result can carry the detail instead of just your name
  • NewThe profiles behind your social icons are now declared as yours, which is the strongest signal there is that the person on this page is the person on those
  • ImprovementAll of it is published as one description of the page rather than several competing ones. Anything not on your page stays out of it: a hidden block, one whose schedule has passed, and a Pro block on a free page are all absent from both

27 August 2026

The free plan, said out loud

  • ImprovementLink scheduling now appears on the pricing table and in the plans panel where it always belonged: it has worked on every plan since it shipped and was only ever mentioned deep in the docs, so people assumed it was paid
  • ImprovementPricing opens with a sentence naming what Free actually includes, generated from the same rows as the table under it, instead of leaving the free plan to be read as a column of ticks

27 August 2026

Click-through rate, on every link

  • NewAnalytics now shows each link's click-through rate under its click count: the share of everyone who opened your page who then opened that link. Share tells you how your links compare to each other; this tells you how they are doing with the people actually arriving
  • ImprovementA range with fewer than 25 views shows no rate at all rather than a confident-looking number built from three visits, and says how many views it has instead

27 August 2026

TikTok and Pinterest, on your page

  • NewIntegrations takes a TikTok Pixel ID and a Pinterest Tag ID alongside Google Analytics and Meta, so a campaign pointed at your page can finally see what happens when someone gets there: the page view, the link they tapped, and the email they left
  • ImprovementAll four advertising IDs are now checked as you leave the field, and a wrong one says what it should look like instead of being saved and quietly never firing

27 August 2026

No colour combination hides your page

  • BugfixColour schemes are held to a readability floor now: a scheme that would have left your block titles, your secondary lines or a button label unreadable against what sits behind them gets that one colour corrected, and everything that already read is untouched

27 August 2026

The details sheet reads on any page

  • ImprovementThe details sheet a visitor opens from the small i is now drawn in our own colours and follows their light or dark setting, instead of taking your page's palette: on a strongly coloured page its share icons and controls could come out nearly invisible

27 August 2026

Fields, buttons and tabs behave

  • BugfixTapping a field on an iPhone no longer zooms the page in and leave it there: every field you type into, in the Studio and on your page, now sits at a size iOS leaves alone
  • BugfixAn outlined button filled with black when the pointer was over it, whatever colours you had picked; it now fills with your own button colour
  • BugfixThe tab you are not on could come out near black and hard to read on a coloured page; it now takes the strip's own text colour
  • ImprovementThe tab strip on your page is a little narrower than the blocks under it, so it reads as the thing that chooses them rather than the first one in the stack
  • ImprovementA Docs link sits in the sidebar above your name, and the invite card lost a line of explaining to make room for it

27 August 2026

The phone sheet stays put

  • BugfixOn an iPhone, typing into a block’s fields no longer shrinks the editing sheet to a blank strip or pushes it off the screen: the sheet stays where it is and the field you are typing into scrolls clear of the keyboard
  • BugfixAdjusting a photo on a phone (a Feature card image, a gallery tile, your profile picture) now shows the whole crop tool, with Cancel and Use photo where you can reach them

27 August 2026

One page, three shelves

  • NewTabs: a Pro page can sort its blocks into up to three named tabs, switched with a strip under your header that takes its shape from your Buttons style
  • NewPress + Tab above your blocks to add one, rename it in place, and drop blocks into it with Move to or the Tab row in a block's settings
  • NewVisitors can link straight to a tab: urls.bio/yourname#shows opens on Shows, and switching tabs updates the address
  • ImprovementDeleting a tab moves its blocks to the first tab instead of removing them, with Undo on the toast

27 August 2026

Emails, on the plan that has it

  • ImprovementOn the free plan the Emails switch in Settings is gone rather than greyed out: one line saying sending is part of Pro, and a link to the plans

27 August 2026

Card links

  • NewEvery link now has a Look: Button, the row with an icon, or Card, a picture across the top with the title and a subtitle under it
  • NewA Card fills itself with the destination's own picture as soon as you paste the address, so most links become a card in one tap with nothing to upload
  • NewCover lets you upload your own picture instead and crop it to 16:9, or hand it back to the site's at any time
  • ImprovementThe Spotlight card upgrade is now the Card look, and it is free on every link rather than part of Pro

27 August 2026

Sending is Pro, all the way down

  • BugfixA post scheduled before a Pro subscription lapsed could still go out to a few hundred people; it now stops and waits, keeps its place, and resumes if Pro comes back

27 August 2026

More sending, on sale

  • NewMore sending is now something you can buy: S is 2,500 subscribers and 10,000 sends a month for $19, M is 10,000 and 40,000 for $79, L is 25,000 and 100,000 for $199, billed on top of Pro and added from Settings
  • NewThe pricing page lists the More sending tiers with the ceilings each one buys
  • ImprovementPro now includes 250 subscribers and 1,000 sends a month, enough to run a small list on; a bigger list picks the tier that fits instead of paying for sends it will never use

27 August 2026

Block details slide away

  • ImprovementOn a phone, a block’s details sheet now slides all the way down when you close it, the way the app’s other sheets do; before it faded out part way

27 August 2026

Every link gets a second sentence

  • NewBlock details: a small i on link, file, embed, tickets, discount code, and chat blocks opens a sheet in your page's own style with the site's preview, where the link goes, your note, and a way to save your contact
  • NewVisitors can share one link, not just your page: Copy, WhatsApp, Messages, X, Email, and the phone's own share sheet, with your note as the message
  • NewA Note field on those blocks, up to 280 characters, shown in the sheet and sent along with a share; on Free and Pro
  • NewA Preview card under a block's address shows what the destination says about itself, with Refresh to read it again
  • NewShares sit next to clicks in the Analytics links table
  • ImprovementDesign has a Block details switch under Buttons to turn the mark and the sheet off for the whole page

27 August 2026

See yourself on the page

  • NewThe homepage use cases are a switchboard: pick musician, podcaster, café owner or any of nine people and watch their week, with the blocks each step uses lit up on the page
  • ImprovementEvery audience with a page under Built for is on the rail; before, three of them were a footnote

27 August 2026

Frosted Glass takes your colors

  • BugfixPicking a color scheme under the Frosted Glass style now paints the page and the text; before, Frosted kept its own purple backdrop whatever you chose

27 August 2026

Pricing, read straight

  • ImprovementThe pricing table lists what Free includes and what Pro adds as two lists, instead of greying Pro rows out inside the Free column
  • NewThe More sending tiers are priced on the pricing page, with the ceilings each one buys
  • ImprovementThe homepage block grid no longer carries a search box above it

27 August 2026

Color schemes you can read

  • NewTwo new color schemes in the Design panel: Sand, a warm cream with cocoa text, and Neon, near-black with an acid lime
  • ImprovementScheme swatches are drawn the way your page wears them, the background as the ground and the text color as the avatar and buttons, instead of a diagonal split

27 August 2026

Onboarding rebuilt

  • NewOnboarding is four steps: claim your handle, pick your look, build the page in the Studio, go live
  • NewPick your look shows your own page drawn in each of the six presets
  • NewBrowse templates in the Studio adds a whole page of blocks, each tagged tap to fill until you edit it
  • NewA one-time strip on the dashboard carries your live link with Copy, Share, QR, and Invite
  • ImprovementThe welcome email leads with the live page, and signups in the app now receive it

27 August 2026

A faster way into the Studio

  • ImprovementThe dashboard now loads only the section you open, so the Studio appears sooner, most noticeably in the iOS app and on a mobile connection
  • ImprovementYour page and its blocks load together instead of one after the other

27 August 2026

Newsletter

  • NewNewsletter: write a post, send it to the list your page collected, and read delivered, opened, clicked, unsubscribed and complained in the report afterwards
  • NewEmails in Settings turns sending on. Give a sender name, a reply-to address and a postal address once, and we verify a sending address at your own handle for you
  • NewPosts go out from no-reply@yourhandle.urls.bio, so the mail is from you, and replies land at the reply-to address you gave
  • NewPublish a sent post as a public page at urls.bio/yourname/p/your-post, or keep it to the inbox
  • NewGroups in the Audience tab: tag the people on your list and send a post to one group instead of everyone
  • NewThe Newsletter is part of Pro: up to 250 subscribers and 1,000 sends a month
  • ImprovementEmail capture is double opt-in now, with a welcome email you can edit and a one-click unsubscribe on every send
  • ImprovementEvery address records the block it came from, so you can see which part of the page is doing the collecting
  • ImprovementRequire an email before viewing the page moved out of Settings and onto the email block itself, beside the field that collects

27 August 2026

A new Studio inspector

  • ImprovementThe inspector is a list of one-line rows instead of a stack of accordions, under a title bar that carries the status of the block and its actions
  • ImprovementOn a phone the inspector is a sheet over the live page, pulled up through three heights
  • ImprovementDesign is grouped into Style, Color, Type, Header, Buttons and Motion, and every section header shows what it is currently set to
  • ImprovementThe stage outlines the block you have selected, so it is obvious what the panel is editing
  • ImprovementDetails and Design tabs appear on the profile header only; a block panel has no tabs to read past

26 August 2026

Eight new blocks and the Block Library

  • NewEvents: your dates, with the venue and a way to buy
  • NewHours: whether you are open right now, above the rest of the week
  • NewLocation: a map, and one tap to directions
  • NewFeature card: one thing, with a picture, a paragraph and a button
  • NewFAQ: the questions you already know the answers to, answered on the page
  • NewLogo strip: the "seen in" logos
  • NewMenu: dishes, services or packages with photos and prices (Pro)
  • NewTickets: sell tickets to your event straight from the page through DIY Stubs
  • NewBlock Library: search every block by name or by what it does, or browse the Basics, Media, Connect and Sell shelves. The four most used blocks are one tap away, and pasting a URL adds the block that fits it
  • NewStarter pages: pick the one closest to what you do and it lays out the blocks and picks a design. Offered when you first set the page up, and again from an empty Studio
  • NewPassword-protected page: put a passcode in front of the whole page (Pro)
  • NewTwo more style presets, Ledger and Print, and generated background patterns tinted with your theme
  • NewSix more fonts for your page
  • NewNotification preferences: choose which emails we send you
  • ImprovementLong-press a block to insert another above or below it, or to edit, duplicate, hide or delete it
  • ImprovementThe gallery lightbox slides between images and wraps at the ends

25 August 2026

Motion

  • NewMotion: six ways a block can arrive (fade, rise, cascade, scale, blur and slide), and four gestures for the one block that should catch the eye (wiggle, pulse, bounce and shake)
  • ImprovementMotion is off until you turn it on, plays once as a block scrolls into view, and never runs for a visitor whose device asks for reduced motion
  • ImprovementPro is $5.99 a month, or $59.99 a year
  • ImprovementWeb signup is invite-only: the home page reserves the handle you want, and an invite from somebody already here creates the account
  • BugfixImage page backgrounds no longer flash and then vanish

24 August 2026

Your own domain

  • NewCustom domain (Pro): add your domain in Settings and it shows you the one DNS record to add at your registrar. The certificate is issued once the record resolves, and your page keeps working at urls.bio/yourname as well
  • NewReserved handles are held back, so a route name cannot be claimed as a page
  • NewGallery: shape options, cropped uploads, an auto-advancing strip, and images you can drag to reorder
  • NewPages for every block and every integration, hubs at /for and /vs, a site directory in the footer, and a full sitemap
  • ImprovementAnalytics are redrawn in the Signal on Paper style and read properly on a phone
  • ImprovementThe dashboard follows your system theme
  • ImprovementPage background images upload in place, and become a Pro feature
  • ImprovementWelcome, invite and digest emails all come from urls.bio, with a real unsubscribe on every one

23 August 2026

The Studio and the theme engine

  • NewA theme engine with four preset families, custom colors, fonts and page backgrounds
  • NewShare control on every public page: a QR code, a link to copy, the native share sheet, and a contact card to save
  • NewAnalytics show views and subscribers by day, clicks for every link, the sites sending you traffic, and a world map of where views came from. The last 30 days are free
  • NewLink thumbnails and scheduling, inline click counts, and a getting-started checklist
