Your page, in Apple Wallet.

A pass carrying your handle and a scannable code, wearing your page’s own colour. The fastest way to hand somebody your page in person.

Reading a handle out loud in a loud room does not work, and neither does asking somebody to type it. A pass in Apple Wallet opens from the lock screen, and the code on it scans from a phone held across a table.

The pass wears your page’s own colour, so it looks like your page rather than like ours, with your handle on the front and a code that opens your page. Add it from the share control on any iPhone, iPad or Mac.

It never goes out of date, because there is nothing on it that changes. It carries your address, and your address is the thing that stays put while everything on the page moves. A scan is counted separately in analytics, so you can see how much of your traffic started in somebody’s wallet.

questions

Straight answers.

Does the pass update when I change my page?
There is nothing on it to update. It carries your address, and everything on the page can change without the address changing.
What if I change my handle?
The old pass stops working along with the old address, the same as any printed QR code. Add a new one.
Does it work on Android?
Not yet. The Add to Apple Wallet control only appears on Apple devices, where there is a wallet to add it to.
