The card link.
Every link has a Look. Switch it to Card and the link gets a picture across the top, its title under that, and a line of context below.
A page that treats every link the same buries the one that matters. Open a link in the Studio, set Look to Card, and it becomes a picture with the title under it, sized so it reads first. Visitors know what they are tapping before they tap it, which is most of the reason they do.
The picture is usually already there. When you paste an address, urls.bio reads the page and keeps a copy of the image the site publishes for itself, so switching to Card is one tap and the card is finished. If the site chose badly, or the link is yours and deserves better, Upload under Cover takes your own picture and crops it to 16:9.
The subtitle is optional; leave it blank and the card shows the destination’s address instead. Switch back to Button whenever you like: the picture is kept, not thrown away. None of this is a different kind of block. It is your link, given the room a launch needs, on a page you own.

Add it to your page.

- 02Set Look to CardThe Look row offers Button or Card. Card fills itself with the picture already fetched.
- 03Make it yoursUnder Cover, choose Use site image or Upload your own and crop it to 16:9. Add a subtitle if the address is not enough.

questions
Straight answers.
- Does a card link count as a different block?
- No. It is an ordinary link with its Look set to Card, so it keeps its own clicks and its place in the stack. The same block can also carry an A/B test or a click limit, which are the two Pro upgrades a link can take.
- Where does the card’s picture come from?
- From the destination. When you save the address, urls.bio reads the page once and copies the image the site publishes for itself into your own storage, so the card is ready without an upload. Upload under Cover replaces it with your own, cropped to 16:9, and Remove hands it back to the site image.
- Is the card look part of Pro?
- No. Look, Cover, and the subtitle are on the free plan, on every link. It used to be the Spotlight card, which was a Pro upgrade; it is free now and it is called Card.
