Blocks here are white at fourteen percent with a blur behind them, so whatever is on the page shows through them. On a flat colour that is a nice effect. On a gradient or a photograph it is the whole point: the block borrows the colour underneath it and changes as the page scrolls.
The preset ships with its own backdrop, a three stop gradient running from deep violet through purple to pink, and it is the one theme that ignores a custom two colour palette. Colour comes from the background here, so change the gradient or drop in an image and the blocks follow it.
Text is white, muted text is white held back, and the accent is a warm sand that stays readable on everything the gradient does. It suits a page built around one image: a cover, a poster, a portrait.
