theme
Ledger.
Ruled paper, flat panels, one cobalt accent. The theme for a page that wants to look considered rather than loud.

The ground is a ruled sheet: one hairline every thirty pixels, drawn in the paper rather than as a texture over it. Panels sit on it flat, in a slightly lighter paper, with a hairline border and a two pixel shadow that reads as a printed offset rather than as depth.
Corners are held at ten pixels whatever button shape you choose. Ledger and Print are the two presets that cap the radius, because a pill on ruled paper stops it being ruled paper. Pick Sharp and you get square; pick the pill and you get the preset.
The accent is cobalt, and it is the only saturated thing on the page, which is what makes a single button read as the button. Small brands, studios, anybody who wants their page to look like it was set rather than filled in.

other themes
- PrintNear white, black rules, square corners, titles in caps. Nothing floats, nothing glows, nothing fades.
- EditorialNo cards, no corners, no shadows. Left aligned type separated by hairlines, the way a printed index page works.
- Soft DepthWarm paper, white cards, a shadow soft enough that you notice the lift rather than the shadow.
questions
Straight answers.
- Where do the lines come from?
- The preset draws them: a repeating hairline every thirty pixels, ending on the paper colour so the bottom of the page matches.
- Why are my buttons not round?
- Ledger caps the corner radius at its own ten pixels. A sharper choice still wins; the pill default does not.
- Which starter uses it?
- Small brand, set in Archivo.
