Plans and billing

Two plans. Free is free, with no time limit and no card. Pro is $3.99 a month, or $39.99 a year.

What Free covers

  • Your page at urls.bio/yourname
  • Unlimited links
  • All four themes, all ten color schemes, all eight fonts, and your own colors and background
  • Thirteen of the seventeen block types
  • Email capture, the subscriber list, and CSV export
  • Analytics, including the map, the referrer panel, and the per-link table
  • Ten invites
  • Your page in the sitemap, and a link preview card drawn in your own theme

Nothing in design is behind Pro, and your list is yours to export on either plan.

What Pro adds

  • Integrations. Klaviyo, Mailchimp, beehiiv, and webhooks, plus your own Google Analytics and Meta Pixel IDs. See integrations.
  • Your own page title and search description. What search engines and link previews show. See sharing.
  • The badge comes off. No urls.bio mark at the bottom of your page.
  • Four more blocks. Contact form, file download, voice intro, and galleries up to twenty images instead of five.
  • Three link upgrades. Spotlight card, A/B test, and click limits, on any link block.
  • Analytics ranges further back. 90 days and a year, listed as part of the plan.

Where the Pro controls are

The Settings tab: the Profile card, and the Page card with Pro locks on page title and search description
Settings, on a free account

On Free, the Pro fields are visible rather than hidden. Page title and Search description sit in the Page card in Settings with a small lock and the word Pro beside them, and the inputs are switched off. Clicking that lock opens the plans panel with the reason on it, "Custom page titles are a Pro feature", so you always know what you are being asked to pay for. The same pattern is used on the Hide urls.bio badge switch, on the Upgrades section inside a link block, and on the whole Integrations tab.

The annual price

$39.99 a year against $47.88 at the monthly rate. That is $7.89 off, close enough to two months, and the panel says so on the yearly option.

Changing plan

Plan and billing sits in the sidebar under your name, and again at the bottom of Settings, where the card tells you which plan you are on before you open anything.

Upgrading opens Stripe checkout. A switch above the price flips between monthly and yearly before you go, so pick the one you want first. Coming back from a successful checkout lands you in the dashboard on Pro. If you close the checkout, nothing changes and nothing is charged.

Once you are on Pro the same panel opens the Stripe billing portal, where you update your card, switch between monthly and yearly, or cancel. urls.bio does not hold your card details at any point.

What happens if you go back to Free

Nothing is deleted. Your blocks, your links, your integration keys, and your subscriber list all stay where they are.

What changes is what visitors see:

  • Contact form, file download, and voice intro blocks stop rendering on your public page. They stay in your block list, so nothing has to be rebuilt.
  • Galleries show their first five images.
  • The urls.bio badge comes back.
  • Page title and search description lock, so you can no longer change what search engines and link previews show.
  • New subscribers stop syncing to Klaviyo, Mailchimp, beehiiv, and your webhook. They still land in Audience, and the keys stay stored.

Put a card back on and everything reappears exactly as you left it, with no retyping.

Common questions

Is there a trial? None is offered, because Free is not a trial. It has no time limit and takes no card.

Do you take a cut of anything I sell? No. urls.bio does not handle money on your behalf, so there is nothing to take a cut of.

Can I pay yearly after starting monthly? Yes. The Stripe billing portal switches between them.

Will my page go down if a payment fails? Your page stays up. What lapses is the Pro-only behavior in the list above.
